When creating Ads on Facebook it's very important to do your research.  This is both Market Research and Competitor Research too.  Doing this will give you an idea of what your customer requires and how your competitors are trying to fulfil the need.  When it comes to competitor research, this is how you do it and it takes just 45 seconds!

I've mentioned what you need to do before creating and also shown how you can do do as part of the research, now it's your turn!  This is how you can go about creating your own businesses Facebook Ad.

1. Create your Audience - Use the options to filter down the 40-odd million people on Facebook and Instagram in the UK to your exact target audience.

2. Find your Customers - From the audience created you will now need to highlight potential customers.  These are the ones that will potentially buy your product or service.

3. Converting to Customers - This is where the quality and effectiveness of your Ads will be measured, when you convert the initial audience into customers
